TO PRESERVE DEER HOLLOW FARM, A HISTORICAL AREA AND WORKING HOMESTEAD FARM; AND SUPPORT THE FARM'S ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR THE BENEFIT OF LOCAL SCHOOLS AND THE COMMUNITY.

PROVIDED FUNDS TO DEER HOLLOW FARM FOR PURCHASE OF FARM ANIMALS, FOOD, VET CARE, SUPPLIES AND BREEDING COSTS


PROVIDED SCHOLARSHIPS TO PUBLIC SCHOOLS IF AT LEAST 20% OF THE STUDENTS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE FEDERAL LUNCH PROGRAM. THIS ALLOWED CHILDREN FROM LOW-INCOME ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS TO ATTEND ENVIRONMENTAL CLASSES BY PAYING THE CLASS FEES AND THE BUS TRANSPORTATION.


GRANT TO DEER HOLLOW FARM TO ASSIST WITH GENERAL OPERATING COSTS OF RUNNING THE FARM INCLUDING PAYROLL AND GENERAL OFFICE.


PROVIDED FUNDS TO DEER HOLLOW FARM TO HELP PRESERVE THE HISTORICAL FARM & SUPPORT THE ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION PROGRAM. FUNDS USED TO MAINTAIN BUILDINGS, GARDEN, PENS, AND NATIVE AMERICAN VILLAGE AND THE TEACHING TOOLS AND SUPPLIES FOR THE CLASSES.
