DURING THE YEAR ITS MEMBERS (MOTHERS AND DAUGHTERS) VOLUNTEERED FOR A VARIETY OF COMMUNITY SUPPORT ACTIVITIES. THIS INCLUDED FUNDRAISING WORK THROUGHOUT MONTEREY COUNTY, HELP CARING FOR ANIMALS AT THE SPCA, MAKING BLANKETS AND QUILTS FOR THE SERIOUSLY ILL, TUTORING CHILDREN IN AFTERSCHOOL AND SUMMER PROGRAMS, DELIVERING FOOD TO THE HOMES OF THE ELDERLY, ORGANIZING DONATED FOOD ITEMS FOR MIGRANT WORKERS, AND SERVING FOOD TO THE HOMELESS.
