THE ORGANIZATION HAS ESTABLISHED AND MAINTAINS A LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN AGES 5 TO 13. THE ORGANIZATION IS OPEN TO ALL CHILDREN IN THE FIVE CITIES AREA OF SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY. SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE TO THOSE FAMILIES UNABLE TO AFFORD THE ENTRY FEE ($65-$85 PER SEASON PER CHILD). APPROXIMATELY 400 CHILDREN PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM ANNUALLY. THE LEAGUE ORGANIZES THE EFFORTS OF VOLUNTEERS AND PARENTS, PROVIDES UNIFORMS, EQUIPMENT, UMPIRES AND FACILITIES, AND PROVIDES INSURANCE FOR THE CHILDREN AND VOLUNTEERS.
