IT IS CABRILLO MUSIC THEATRE'S MISSION TO PROVIDE THE HIGHEST QUALITY MUSICAL THEATRE EXPERIENCE, TO FOSTER EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES, AND TO PROMOTE CULTURAL AND ARTISTIC ENRICHMENT TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN OUR COMMUNITY. WE BELIEVE THE ARTS ARE FUNDAMENTAL TO HUMANITY. THEY FOSTER CREATIVITY, BEAUTY, PROVIDE A MEANS FOR EXPRESSING OUR VALUES AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, BRING OUR COMMUNITY TOGETHER.

CABRILLO MUSIC THEATRE PRESENTS LOCALLY PRODUCED, PROFESSIONAL MUSICAL THEATRE FOR SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AUDIENCES. CABRILLO MUSIC THEATRE IS A VOLUNTEER DRIVEN NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION DEVOTED TO GIVING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH EXTENSIVE OUTREACH PROGRAMS SERVING DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN, IN-NEED SENIORS AND ACTIVE MILITARY. OUR MISSION IS TO INTRODUCE THE MUSICAL THEATRE EXPERIENCE TO SOCIALLY, CULTURALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DIVERSE AND UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. UNFORTUNATELY, THIS ACTIVITY WAS ON HOLD THIS YEAR DUE TO THE PANDEMIC. EXPENSES SHOWN ARE HOLD-OVEREXPENSES FOR PRODUCTIONS PRIOR TO THE PANDEMIC.
5-STAR THEATRICALS/CABRILLO MUSIC PROVIDES OUTREACH SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY, INCLUDING SENIORS, KIDS, AND THE MILITARY. THIS OUTREACH INCLUDES AN ANNUAL CHRISTMAS SHOW FOR ACTIVE TROOPS AT THE NAVAL BASE VENTURA COUNTY, CONCERTS AT SENIOR LIVING FACILITIES AS WELL AS THE STARLIGHT KIDS PROGRAM FOR LOCAL KIDS INTERESTED IN PERFORMANCE. SOME PROGRAMS WERE SUSPENDED DUE TO THE PANDEMIC. THE SHOW FOR THE TROOPS WENT ON. ADDITIONALLY, WE PRODUCED SEVERAL OUTDOOR CONCERTS FOR THE COMMUNITY DURING THIS PERIOD.
5-STAR THEATRICALS/CABRILLO MUSIC THEATRE HAS EMBARKED ON AN EDUCATION PROGRAM TO PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY, PROFESSIONAL THEATRE TRAINING FOR YOUTH AND ASPIRING PERFORMERS IN OUR SERVICE AREA (THE GREATER CONEJO VALLEY). THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES HANDS-ON TRAINING FROM PROVEN INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS. THIS PROGRAM WAS LARGELY SUSPENDED DURING THE PANDEMIC.
