GIRLS PARTICIPATED IN A VARIETY OF GENDER-RESPONSIVE, CULTURALLY RELEVANT, TRAUMA-INFORMED AND EVIDENCE-BASED WORKSHOPS RANGING FROM FINANCIAL LITERACY AND THE FOUNDATION OF CAREER AND ACADEMIC SUCCESS, TO LEADERSHIP AND COMMUNITY ACTION. THE PROGRAMS WERE DELIVERED DURING THE SUMMER WITH SPECIAL EVENTS ON EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS. SOME WORKSHOPS WERE COMPREHENSIVE AND TOOK PLACE OVER THE COURSE OF THE SEMESTER WHILE OTHERS WERE ONE-TIME EVENTS. EVOLUER HOUSE PROGRAMS PROVIDED 80 UNDERPRIVILEGED GIRLS WITH CRUCIAL SKILLS AND SUPPORT TO BE HEALTH, EDUCATED, WORK-READY, AND INDEPENDENT. THROUGH HANDS-ON ACTIVITIES FACILITATED BY TRAINED, GRADUATE LEVEL INSTRUCTORS, GIRLS TRIED NEW THINGS IN A SAFE, PRO-GIRL ENVIRONMENT. THE FAMILIES WERE ALSO INVITED TO GET INVOLVED AND GROW THEIR AWARENESS OF THE TOPICS DISCUSSED IN OUR PROGRAMS.
