THE SOCIETY PROVIDES CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION TO MEDICAL DOCTORS WITH AN INTEREST IN CLINICAL INFECTIOUS DISEASE AND ACTS AS A FORUM FOR THE EXCHANGE OF IDEAS. THE SOCIETY SPONSORS AN EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE WITH CME CREDITS. IT PUBLISHES A MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY, AND OPERATES A SURVEILLANCE E-MAIL NETWORK FOR THE SHARING OF INFORMATION ON EMERGING INFECTIOUS DISEASE.
