THE OBJECT OF ROTARY IS TO ENCOURAGE AND FOSTER THE IDEAL OF SERVICE AS A BASIS OF WORTHY ENTERPRISE AND, IN PARTICULAR TO ENCOURAGE AND FOSTER: FIRST, THE DEVELOPMENT OF ACQUAINTANCE AS AN OPPORTUNITY OF SERVICE; SECOND, HIGH ETHICAL STANDARDS IN BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONS, THE RECOGNITION OF THE WORTHINESS OF ALL USEFUL OCCUPATIONS, AND THE DIGNIFYING BY EACH ROTARIAN OF HIS OCCUPATION AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE SOCIETY; THIRD, THE APPLICATION OF THE IDEAL OF SERVICE BY EACH ROTARIAN TO HIS PERSONAL, BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY LIFE; AND FOURTH, THE ADVANCEMENT OF INTERNATIONAL UNDERSTANDING, GOODWILL, AND PEACE THROUGH A WORLD OF FELLOWSHIP OF BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL PERSONS UNITED IN THE IDEAL OF SERVICE.

THE CLUB HELPED FACILITATE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR LITTLEFIELD INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT GRADUATING SENIORS, A BICYCLE PROGRAM FOR PERFECT ATTENDANCE FOR LITTLEFIELD PRIMARY AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS, AND AN AWARD FOR READERS, WRITERS, AND REASONERS FOR STUDENTS AT LITTLEFIELD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. THE CLUB ALSO HELPED FACILITATE THE ADMINSTRATIVE ASSISTANT LUNCHEON FROM WHICH THE PROCEEDS PROVIDED A GRANT FOR LITTLEFIELD INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT.
