ASSISTANCE LEAGUE OF AUSTIN IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION OF DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS PROVIDING DIRECT SERVICES THAT ADDRESS SPECIFIC, BASIC NEEDS OF CHILDREN AND ADULTS IN SCHOOLS AND HOSPITALS IN THE GREATER AUSTIN AREA.

OPERATION SCHOOL BELL IS THE FLAGSHIP PROGRAM OF ASSISTANCE LEAGUE CHAPTERS PROVIDING A WARDROBE OF NEW CLOTHING, SHOES, AND TOILETRIES TO CHILDREN IN AUSTIN ISD, DEL VALLE ISD AND MANOR ISD SCHOOLS AND AREA SHELTERS TO BOOST STUDENTS SELF ESTEEM AND HELP THEM STAY IN SCHOOL.
ASSISTANCE LEAGUE SCHOLARSHIPS ARE PROVIDED TO QUALIFYING STUDENTS ATTENDING AUSTIN COMMUNITY COLLEGE TO HELP THEM ACHIEVE THEIR CAREER GOALS. THESE SCHOLARSHIPS COVER TUITION, BOOKS, AND FEES. DISCRETIONARY FUNDS ARE PROVIDED TO STUDENTS AS NEEDED AND APPROVED.
OPERATION WISH LIST PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO CENTRAL TEXAS AREA SCHOOL DISTRICTS WHICH HAVE A HIGH PERCENTAGE OF STUDENTS AT RISK.
