THE ASSISTANCE PROVIDED INCLUDED PAYMENT OF UNINSURED MEDICAL EXPENSES, TRAVEL EXPENSES TO VISIT SICK OR DYING RELATIVES, PAYMENT FOR RENOVATIONS TO HOMES REQUIRING HANDICAP ACCESSABILITY, PAYMENT OF UTILITY BILLS, HOUSING ALLOWANCE FOR FAMILY OF INDIVIDUAL RECUPERATING FROM LONG TERM ILLNESS AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS EXPENSES FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE HAD CATASTROPHIC EVENTS WHO NEEDED A HELPING HAND.
