Describe the Organization's Mission:
Part 3 - Line 1
LEGACY EXISTS TO HELP BELIEVERS EXPERIENCE, UNDERSTAND, AND PARTNER WITH THE TRANSFORMATIVE REALITY OF CHRIST IN THEM. SO THEY CAN ENJOY INTIMACY WITH GOD, ENGAGE THEIR COMMUNITY, BUILD UP THE CHURCH, AND LIVE A SPIRIT-EMPOWERED LIFE THAT INFLUENCES GENERATIONS TO COME. WE DO THIS TO IMPACT ETERNITY TOGETHER.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
LEGACY PROVIDES ONE TO TWO SEMESTERS EACH YEAR: A FIFTEEN WEEK SEMESTER IN THE SPRING, AND A NINE WEEK SEMESTER IN THE SUMMER. DURING ONE SEMESTER YEARS, SPRING MONTHS ARE SCHEDULED WITH STUDENT RETREAT INTENSIVES AND MARRIAGE RETREAT WEEKENDS. FOR THE SEMESTER PROGRAMS, ALL STUDENTS LIVE ON-CAMPUS, WHERE HOUSING AND MEALS ARE PROVIDED IN ADDITION TO CLASSROOM TIME. EACH STUDENT RECEIVES PERSONAL MENTORING FROM OUR STAFF, DAILY BIBLICAL TEACHING, AND SPECIAL EVENTS SUCH AS WORSHIP NIGHTS OR RETREATS. THERE IS BALANCE IN OUR MINISTRY: WE VALUE SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT, AS WELL AS THE PRACTICAL ASPECTS AND APPLICATIONS OF LIFE. WE ARE PERSONAL AND COMMUNAL IN NATURE AT LEGACY. FOR SPRING, STUDENTS CAN EXPECT 1000+ HOURS OF TRAINING: PRACTICAL, CLASS, SMALL GROUPS, PRAYER, AND EVEN FUN. YEAR ROUND, LEGACY ALSO HOSTS A WIDE ARRAY OF EVENTS SUCH AS FALL RETREATS, ALUMNI GATHERINGS, AND WORSHIP NIGHTS.
