GREAT LAKES BAY PRIDE FESTIVAL AND RELATED PROGRAMMING IS A KEY ELEMENT OF OUR EDUCATION, NETWORKING, AND RESOURCE MISSION OBJECTIVES. THE FESTIVAL IS OUR LARGEST, PUBLIC GATHERING OPPORTUNITY IN THE REGION AND WELCOMED NEARLY 3,000 ATTENDEES IN 2022. OVER SIXTY RETAIL AND RESOURCE VENDORS ALSO PARTICIPATED IN THE FESTIVAL TO SHARE THEIR LGBTQ+ INCLUSIVE SERVICES.
HARMONY DIVERSITY CHOIR IS A PROGRAM OF GREAT LAKES BAY PRIDE THAT USES THE LANGUAGE OF SONG TO SHARE A MESSAGE OF DIVERSITY, EQUITY, INCLUSION, AND ACCEPTANCE THROUGH PUBLIC PERFORMANCES IN THE REGION. HARMONY DIVERSITY CHOIR PROVIDES A SAFE SPACE FOR PERFORMERS TO HONE THEIR SKILLS AND EXPAND THEIR REPERTOIRE.
SUPPORT SERVICES INCLUDE A MONTHLY TRANSGENDER PEER SUPPORT GROUP THAT CREATES A SAFE SPACE FOR TRANSGENDER, NONBINARY, AND ALLIES TO GATHER FOR SOCIALIZING, EDUCATION, AND RESOURCE SHARING
