THE MISSION OF THE STEPHENVILLE EVENING LIONS CLUB IS TO RAISE FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE ORGANIZATIONS OF THE CROSS TIMBERS AREA IN EDUCATING YOUTH IN EVERY ASPECT OF PERSONAL GROWTH WITH A STRONG EMPHASIS ON PHYSICAL AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES.

THE FUNDS RAISED THROUGH THE UPLAND BIRD EVENT ARE USED TO FUND THE ERATH COUNTY SCOUTING OFFICE. THE EVENING LIONS CLUB PAYS THE RENT AND UTILITIES FOR THE OFFICE WHICH PROVIDES A PLACE FOR LOCAL SCOUTING LEADERS TO DO RESEARCH AND PLAN EVENTS, AND A PLACE FOR RESIDENTS OF ERATH COUNTY TO GET INFORMATION ON SCOUTING PROGRAMS AVAILABLE TO LOCAL YOUTH.


FUNDS RAISED AT THE ANNUAL UPLAND BIRD EXTRAVAGANZA ARE USED TO SUPPORT LOCAL YOUTH ACTIVITIES WITHIN ERATH COUNTY, TEXAS. THE GOAL OF THE STEPHENVILLE EVENING LIONS CLUB IS TO USE ALL RAISED FUNDS TO PROMOTE ACTIVITIES WHICH BUILD CHARACTER AND RESPONSIBILITY THROUGH PHYSICAL AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITY.
