THE LONE STAR FILM SOCIETY EXISTS TO CULTIVATE AN APPRECIATION AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE MOVING IMAGE AS AN ART FORM AND TO SHOWCASE THE CITY OF FORT WORTH TO THE WORLD. THE SOCIETY ACCOMPLISHES THIS MISSION THROUGH YEAR-ROUND PRESENTATION, EDUCATION, AND COMMUNITY COLLABORATION. THIS INCLUDES AN ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL THAT IS THE LEADING EVENT OF ITS KIND IN NORTH TX.

THE LONE STAR INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL IS A FORUM THAT SHOWCASES THE BEST IN AMERICAN AND INTERNATIONAL INDEPENDENT CINEMA. THE FESTIVAL IS THE KAYSTONE PROGRAM THROUGH WHICH THE LONE STAR FILM SOCIETY PROVIDES ARTISTIC AND EDUCATIONAL ENRICHMENT


ALL IN FILM IS A PROGRAM HELD IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE BOYS GIRLS CLUB OF FORT WORTH. IT IS A YEAR-ROUND SERIES EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM OF REPERTORY FILM PROGRAMMING FEATURING SOME OF THE MOST BELOVED AND IMPORTANT FILMS AND FILMMAKERS IN CINEMATIC
