THE PARK CITIES ACLD IS A NON-PROFIT, VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION FOR PARENTS, TEACHERS, COUNSELORS, TUTORS, AND OTHER PROFESSIONALS INVOLVED WITH STUDENTS WHO HAVE LEARNING DISABILITIES OR ATTENTION DEFICIT DISORDER (ADD) OR ATTENTION DEFICIT DISORDER WITH HYPERACTIVITY (ADHD). THE PURPOSE OF THE PARK CITIES ACLD SHALL BE TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND WELL BEING OF CHILDREN WITH NORMAL AND ABOVE NORMAL INTELLIGENCE WHO HAVE DIFFICULTY UNDERSTANDING OR USING SPOKEN OR WRITTEN LANGUAGE, INCLUDING MATHEMATICAL CALCULATIONS, OR HAVE ADD OR ADHD.
