HOME AND COMMUNITY BASED PROGRAMS PROVIDE SERVICE TO PERSONS WITH MENTAL RETARDATION WHO LIVE WITH FAMILIES IN THEIR OWN HOMES, COMPANION CARE, OR IN A SMALL GROUP HOME. SERVICES ARE FOCUSED ON PROVIDING ASSISTING AND OPPORTUNITIES TO ASSIST INDIVIDUALS IN LIVING AND PARTICIPATING IN THE COMMUNITY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT.


INTERMEDIATE CARE FACILITIES PROVIDE RESIDENTIAL AND HAB SERVICES, SKILLED TRAINING AND THERAPY TO PERSONS WITH MENTAL RETARDATION. THROUGH THESE MEDICIAID BASED FACILITIES RESIDENTS RECEIVE AROUND THE CLOCK CARE.


VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND HAB SERVICES PROVIDE TRAINING AND SUPPORT TO INDIVIDUALS WITH MENTAL RETARDATION TO ASSIST THEM IN OBTAINING AND RETAINING EMPLOYMENT. SERVICES ARE TAILORED FOR INDIVIDUAL NEEDS.
