STAR RAISES FUNDS TO HELP LOW-INCOME FAMILIES PAY THE COST OF TUITION TO PRIVATE SCHOOLS. STUDENTS ARE MATCHED WITH SPONSORS. PAYMENTS ARE MADE DIRECTLY TO THE SCHOOLS.
STEPUP IS A MINOR PROGRAM WHICH USES SMALLER DONATIONS TO HELP FAMILIES WITH INCIDENTAL EDUCATIONAL COSTS AND NEEDS SUCH AS SUMMER SCHOOL FEES, USED COMPUTERS AS WELL AS MERIT REWARDS FOR GOOD PERFORMANCE.
