OPERA LIVE - YEARLY PRODUCTIONS THAT BRING QUALITY PERFORMANCES FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC. THESE PRODUCTIONS PROVIDE PROGRAMMING FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES THAT ARE EITHER MINORITIES OR HAVE A LOW SOCIO-ECONOMIC STATUS.OPERA IN THE SCHOOLS - EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING THAT SHOWCASES STUDENTS ATTENDING UNIVERSITY FOR PERFORMING ARTS PUTTING ON A PRODUCTION FOR ELEMENTARY AGE STUDENTS IN MIDLAND.YOUTH MENTOR PROGRAM - MONTHLY CLASSES FOR JUNIOR AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS INTERESTED IN ATTENDING UNIVERSITY AND HAVING EVENTUAL CAREERS IN THE PERFORMING ARTS. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES VALUABLE TRAINING TO PREPARE THE STUDENTS FOR WHAT TO EXPECT IN THEIR FUTURES.OPERA 101 - WEEKLY COURSES HELD AT MIDLAND COLLEGE AS A FURTHERING EDUCATION CLASS THAT TEACHES OPERA HISTORY.
