THE ASSOCIATION PRESENTED THREE FULLY STAGED OPERA PRODUCTIONS AND ONE CONCERT DURING THE FISCAL YEAR. ALL FOUR WERE CONCEIVED AND PRODUCED LOCALLY WITH ARTISTS ENGAGED INDIVIDUALLY BY THE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR AND PRODUCTION DESIGN EXECUTED BY THE ASSOCIATION'S SCENIC STUDIO. AS PART OF ITS MISSION TO INTRODUCE OPERA TO YOUNGER AUDIENCES, STUDENTS THROUGHOUT THE METROPOLITAN AREA HAD ACCESS TO OPERA EDUCATION PACKETS AND AN INVITATION TO THE FINAL DRESS REHEARSAL OF LA BOHME, AS WELL AS OTHER EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING. ADDITIONALLY, ADULT EDUCATION IS PROVIDED THROUGH FREE CONCERTS AND LECTURES IN AREA ESTABLISHMENTS AND THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS WITH LOCAL BUSINESSES.
