DANCING CLASSROOMS NORT TEXAS (DCNT): TO BUILD SOCIAL AWARENESS, CONFIDENCE, AND SELF-ESTEEM IN CHILDREN. BY WORKING WITH A PARTNER IN A DANCE HOLD, STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO EXHIBIT CARE, CONSIDERATION AND TEAMWORK, TRANSFERABLE SKILLS NECESSARY FOR ADULT LIFE. DCNT IS MAINLY A PROGRAM FOR 5TH GRADERS. FORT WORTH ISD, DALLAS ISD, HEB ISD AND DALLAS CATHOLIC DIOCESES ARE THE SCHOOL DISTRICTS THAT CURRENTLY UTILIZE THIS PROGRAM.
