SHELTER AND TRANSITIONAL LIVING - RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS PROVIDE VICTIMS FLEEING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE WITH CASE MANAGEMENT, COUNSELING, LIFE SKILLS TRAINING AND SPECIALIZED CLIENT ASSISTANCE IN ADDITION TO EMERGENCY SHELTER AND LONGER TERM HOUSING. THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES TWO EMERGENCY SHELTERS, ONE IN FORT WORTH AND ANOTHER IN ARLINGTON. TRANSITIONAL AND PERMANENT LIVING PROVIDES SUPPORTIVE HOUSING SERVICES, INCLUDING RENTAL ASSISTANCE, AT SCATTERED SITES. 1,937 SERVED DURING FYE 2021.
CLINICAL INTERVENTION - NON-RESIDENTIAL, OUTREACH SERVICES PROVIDED AT TWO RESOURCE CENTERS IN FORT WORTH AND ARLINGTON. MASTERS-LEVEL COUNSELORS PROVIDE INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP SESSIONS FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO FACILITATES THE REHABILITATION OF BATTERERS THROUGH AN EVIDENCE-BASED CURRICULUM THAT REDUCES ABUSE RECIDIVISM. THE STATE ACCREDITED BATTERER'S INTERVENTION AND PREVENTION PROGRAM IS THE ONLY SERVICE FOR WHICH THE ORGANIZATION CHARGES PARTICIPANTS A FEE.IN ALL CLINICAL INTERVENTION SERVICES 578 SERVED DURING FYE 2021.
CRISIS AND OUTREACH, VICTIMS ASSISTANCE AND LEGAL SERVICES - A 24-HOUR HOTLINE PROVIDES IMMEDIATE CRISIS INTERVENTION, SAFETY PLANNING AND PROGRAM REFERRALS FOR VICTIMS. HOTLINE STAFF ALSO COORDINATES WITH AND TRAINS POLICE DEPARTMENTS, MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS AND OTHER VICTIM SERVICE PROVIDERS.
