TEXAS HEALTH SPECIALTY HOSPITAL FORT WORTH (THSH) IS A 10 BED LONG-TERM CARE HOSPITAL PROVIDING QUALITY CARE TO PATIENTS EXPERIENCING AN AVERAGE LENGTH OF STAY OF 33 DAYS OR LONGER. SINCE 1989, THSH HAS BEEN PROVIDING SUCH CARE TO PATIENTS IN FORT WORTH AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES. DURING THE YEAR, THSH HAD 3,275 PATIENT DAYS AND 85 DISCHARGES. THSH PROVIDES QUALITY MEDICAL HEALTHCARE REGARDLESS OF RACE, CREED, SEX, NATIONAL ORIGIN, HANDICAP, AGE, OR ABILITY TO PAY. THE HOSPITAL PROVIDES CARE TO PERSONS COVERED BY GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAMS INCLUDING MEDICARE AND MEDICAID FOR REIMBURSEMENT THAT DOES NOT ALWAYS COVER THE COST OF PROVIDING THE CARE.
