THE YOUTH ORCHESTRA OF GREATER FORT WORTH PROVIDES MUSIC EDUCATION TO PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOL STUDENTS. CONCERTS TO THE PUBLIC ASSIST IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF CULTURAL AWARENESS AND ENCHANCE THE PUBLIC'S APPRECIATION OF CLASSICAL MUSIC BY PROVIDING FREE OR LOW COST CONCERTS AND MUSIC EVENTS. MORE THAN 300 STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN THE EVENTS IN FY2021.
PARENTS' GUILD REPRESENTS RESOURCES RAISED BY A VOLUNTEER GROUP FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE ORGANIZATION. RESOURCES PROVIDE FUNDING TO REDUCE THE COST OF TRAVEL EXPENSES FOR THE ORGANIZATION'S MUSICIANS WHEN THEY TOUR, AND FOR OTHER MUSICIAN ACTIVITIES. PARENTS GUILD OPERATES ON A MEMBERSHIP BASIS.
