EDUCATION SERVICES: THE CARNEGIE MUSEUM FOUNDATION PROVIDES A WIDE RANGE OF EDUCATION EXPERIENCE FOR ALL AGES. WE HAVE PROGRAMS FOR EVERYONE FROM PRESCHOOL STUDENTS TO SENIOR CITIZENS. SOME OF OUR PROGRAMS INCLUDE PRESCHOOL TOURS, 5TH GRADE LEWIS & CLARK EXPERIENCE, HIGH SCHOOL INTRODUCTION TO ART, HOME SCHOOL TOURS, AND ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL) PROGRAMS, ASSISTED LIVING RESIDENTS.


OPEN HOUSE: THE CARNEGIE MUSEUM FOUNDATION OFFERS SEVERAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE PUBLIC TO COME VISIT THE MUSEUM. THE MUSEUM STAYS OPEN LATE THE FIRST FRIDAY OF EVERY MONTH IN COORDINATION WITH THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD'S "FIRST FRIDAYS". WE ALSO PARTNER UP WITH THE FAIRFIELD AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ANNUALLY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE BUSINESS AFTER HOURS EVENT. THE MUSEUM IS ALSO A POPULAR VENUE FOR EVENTS SUCH AS REUNIONS, FOR PARSON'S COLLEGE ALUMNI, FAIRFIELD HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI, AND FAMILIES.


RESEARCH SERVICES: THE CARNEGIE MUSEUM FOUNDATION PROVIDES BOTH PRIMARY AND SECONDARY RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES. WE MAKE OUR COLLECTIONS AVAILABLE FOR SUCH ACTIVITIES AS PHD THESIS RESEARCH, GENEALOGY RESEARCH, AND IOWA TRAVEL GUIDE RESEARCH. THE MUSEUM HAS RECENTLY BEEN FEATURED IN SEVERAL PUBLICATIONS.
