PROMOTES ECOLOGICAL RESEARCH AND EDUCATION OF ECOLOGICAL STUDIES RELATED TO SOCIAL, CULTURAL, AND SCIENTIFIC IMPLICATIONS. THE INSTITUTE OF ECOTECHNICS IS DEVOTED TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE THEORY AND PRACTICE OF "ECOTECHNICS" -WAYS TO BETTER HARMONIZE THE INTEGRATION OF APPROPRIATE TECHNOLOGY WITH ECOLOGICAL SYSTEMS, AT LOCAL, REGIONAL AND BIOSPHERIC LEVELS.

TROPIC VENTURES RAINFOREST ENRICHMENT AND SUSTAINABLE FORESTRY PROJECT IS REGISTERED UNDER THE AUXILIARY FOREST PROGRAM OF PUERTO RICO, AND IS A DEMONSTRATION PROJECT FOR STUDENTS AND FORESTERS INTERESTED IN THE SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT AND PRESERVATION OF TROPICAL RAINFOREST LAND.


RV HERACLITUS - STUDY OF OCEANS, CORAL REEFS, RIVERS, LAKES, ESTUARIES AND EXPLORED THE ORIGINS AND FUTURES OF HUMAN CULTURES.
