OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES: OACD OTHER PROGRAMS CONSIST OF OUR STEWARDSHIP WEEK PROGRAM, OUR CARBON CREDIT/ECOPASS PROGRAM, OUR SPEECH SPEECH POSTER AND ESSAY CONTEST, OUR MICROGRANT PROGRAM TO MEMBER DISTRICTS, OUR EDUCATION AND OUTREACH EFFORTS TO PRODUCERS ABD OTHER OKLAHOMANS, OUR OUTREACH ABD ADVOCACY TO POLICY MAKERS ABD OPINION SHAPERS, MEDIA OUTREACH EFFORTS, AND THE GENERAL ADMINISTRATION OF THE ASSOCIATION.
OACD ANNUAL MEETING. THIS EVENT BRINGS TOGETHER OVER 400 CONSERVATION LEADERS FROM THROUGHOUT OKLAHOMA FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION AND INTERACTION TO HELP FURTHER CONSERVATION AND STEWARDSHIP WORK ON PRIVATE LAND IN OKLAHOMA. THE MEETING ALSO HOSTS THE STATE FINALS OF THE OCAD SPEECH, POSTER AND ESSAY CONTESTS WHICH HELP INCENTIVIZE STUDENTS TO LEARN MORE ABOUT GOOD CONSERVATION AND ITS BENEFIT TO THE ENVORONMENT AND ECONOMY.
OACD SPONSORS CONTEST AND EDUCATIONAL EVENTS TO PROMOTE EDUCATION AND GOOD PRACTICES RELATED TO CONSERVATION AND STEWARDSHIP OF NATURAL RESOURCES.
NATIONAL LAND AND RANGE JUDGING COMPETITION. EACH YEAR OVER 1,000 CONTESTANTS AND SPONSORS FROM OVER 30 STATES PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM THAT HELPS EDUCATE YOUTH FROM AROUND THE COUNTRY ON THE BENEFITS OF GOOD LAND MANAGEMENT PRACTICES THROUGH LAND AND RANGE JUDGING.
