TO PROVIDE SPIRITUALLY CENTERED, HOLISTIC, COMPASSIONATE SKILLED NURSING SERVICES FOR THE SHORT TERM OR LONG TERM, AND RESIDENTIAL ASSISTED LIVING TO THE PEOPLE OF OUR COMMUNITY.

VIA CHRISTI VILLAGE PITTSBURG, INC. MANAGES AND OPERATES A CONTINUING CARE RETIREMENT COMMUNITY. OUR SKILLED NURSING FACILITY, INSPIRED BY THE HEALING MISSION OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH TO THE ELDERLY, PROVIDES A CONTINUUM OF CARE TO RESIDENTS THAT MAXIMIZES DIGNITY AND INDEPENDENCE. ROOTED IN THE CATHOLIC TRADITION OF CARING, OUR COMMUNITY IS CONTINUALLY DEVELOPING AND ADOPTING NEW BEST PRACTICES IN CARE THAT ENHANCE THE EXPERIENCE OF OUR RESIDENTS, PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS AND PATIENTS. THE STAFF IS COMMITTED TO PROMOTING THE WELL-BEING OF THOSE WE SERVE THROUGH THE DELIVERY OF QUALITY CARE. THE MAIN OBJECTIVE IS TO PROVIDE QUALITY NURSING CARE AND ASSISTED LIVING FACILITIES TO THE ELDERLY, WHICH INCLUDE FOOD SERVICE HOUSEKEEPING, AND LAUNDRY SERVICE. THE SNF HAS 96 BEDS WITH AN AVERAGE OCCUPANCY OF 79% IN FY22. IN FY2022, 15,126 DAYS OF CARE WERE PROVIDED TO MEDICAID RECIPIENTS, 2,876 WERE PROVIDED TO MEDICARE RECIPIENTS. THE ASSISTED LIVING HAS 32 UNITS WITH 25 OCCUPIED OR 79.5%. ALTHOUGH REIMBURSEMENT FOR SERVICES RENDERED IS CRITICAL TO THE OPERATIONS AND STABILITY OF THE ORGANIZATION, AS A CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION, IT IS RECOGNIZED THAT NOT ALL PERSONS POSSESS THE ABILITY TO PURCHASE ESSENTIAL SERVICES NEEDED FOR CARE AND OUR MISSION IS TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY WITH RESPECT TO PROVIDING HEALTH CARE SERVICES. FOR MEDICAID RESIDENTS, WE WERE REIMBURSED $488,673 LESS THAN OUR COSTS. AS PART OF THE ASCENSION CATHOLIC HEALTH MINISTRY, THE FILING ORGANIZATION SERVED IN SUPPORT OF ASCENSION'S COMMITMENT TO BOTH CARE FOR PATIENTS AND COMMUNITIES AND SUPPORT CAREGIVERS AND OTHER ASSOCIATES THROUGH THE CHALLENGES OF THE COVID-19 GLOBAL PANDEMIC IN FY22.
