PROVIDED FUNDS FOR OPERATING EXPENSES OF ALBERGUE CASA HOGAR, A NON-PROFIT CHILDREN'S HOME ACROSS THE RIO GRANDE RIVER FROM PRESIDIO, TEXAS. THESE FUNDS PROVIDED MORE THAN 90% OF THE MONEY SPENT ON FOOD, SHELTER, CARE GIVER SALARIES FOR A YEARLY AVERAGE OF 90 CHILDREN AGES 4 TO 18. IF THESE CHILDREN WERE NOT BEING CARED FOR IN THE GROUP HOME THEY WOULD BE LIVING ON THE STREET OR IN ABUSIVE HOMES, NOT ATTENDING SCHOOL, AND PROBABLY HUNGRY AND DIRTY. ALSO INCLUDED IN THIS ARE IN KIND DONATIONS OF FOOD, ART SUPPLIES, SCHOOL SUPPLIES, CLOTHING, CLEANING PRODUCTS, ETC.
