TUTORING STUDENTS IS THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THIS ORGANIZATION. NORMALLY, GROUP INSTRUCTION IS THE PREDOMINANT MODE OF INSTRUCTION WITH 75% OF SERVICES BEING PROVIDED IN LARGE AND SMALL GROUP SETTINGS AND THE REMAINING 25% TAUGHT VIA ONLINE ACCESS OF A STUDENT PORTAL ON OUR WEBSITE. HOWEVER, 2021 FOUND KCALC PROVIDING SERVICES REMOTELY AND DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. STUDENTS WERE SERVICED FACE TO FACE AND THROUGH ZOOM, REMIND, GROUPME, FACEBOOK LIVE AND YOUTUBE UTILIZING PAID AND VOLUNTEER INSTRUCTORS. WE ALSO SERVE AS A BRIDGE BETWEEN SCHOOLS AND FAMILIES. OUR NUMBER OF ACTIVE TUTORS IS 8 DUE TO COMING OUT OF THE PANDEMIC. OUR DOCUMENTED STUDENTS WERE 121. WE HAVE 38 VOLUNTEER/ADVOCATES WITH 56 LISTED AS ACTIVE/POTENTIAL VOLUNTEERS.
