THE ROUND TOP FAMILY LIBRARY SHALL BE AN OPEN ACCESSIBLE INSTITUTION PROVIDING INFORMATION THAT ENLIGHTENS AND ENRICHES THE COMMUNITY BY PRESERVING RURAL CULTURE, CHARACTER AND QUALITY OF LIFE IN A CLIMATE THAT ENCOURAGES SELF-EXPRESSION, STIMULATES THE JOY OF READING, CULTIVATES THE APPRECIATION OF BEAUTY AND INSPIRES THE SEARCH FOR KNOWLEDGE. THE LIBRARY SHALL MAKE ITS COLLECTIONS AND FACILITIES ACCESIBLE TO THE COMMUNITY IN ORDER TO SUPPORT THE ENJOYMENT AND EDIFICATION OF ALL AREA CITIZENS REGARDLESS OF AGE, CULTURAL BACKGROUND OR EDUCATION. THE LIBRARY SHALL BE A RESOURCE FOR LOCAL SCHOOLS AND NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN ADDITION TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

Part 3 - Line 4a

TO OPERATE A GENERAL LENDING LIBRARY, THE ROUND TOP FAMILY LIBRARY, AND TO PRESENT EDUCATIONAL AND ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS. 5,000 HOMES IN FAYETTE, LEE, AND WASHINGTON COUNTIES, TEXAS ARE SERVED. THE LIBRARY SERVES APPROXIMATELY 1,500 PATRONS PER MONTH.
