LAND CONSERVATION AND STEWARDSHIP PROGRAM: THROUGH THE CITY OF SAN ANTONIO'S EDWARDS AQUIFER PROTECTION PROGRAM, THE LAND CONSERVATION STAFF ASSISTED 3 LANDOWNERS IN PLACING THEIR PROPERTIES UNDER CONSERVATION EASEMENT AGREEMENTS WITH THE CITY. THE ORGANIZATION MONITORED 3 GSA CONSERVATION EASEMENT PROPERTIES AND LED VOLUNTEERS IN THE MAINTENANCE OF 2 OWNED PROPERTIES. THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUED IT'S COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO READINESS AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION INTEGRATION PROGRAM.
URBAN LAND AND WATER PROGRAM: THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINS AND SUPPORTS A CITY WIDE NETWORK OF 25 COMMUNITY GARDENS. THE PROGRAM FOSTERS AN APPRECIATION FOR THE NATURAL WORLD THROUGH THE CAMERA LENS. IN 2021, PICTURE YOUR WORLD CONDUCTED 31 FOUR-MINUTE NATURE PHOTGRAPHY WORKSHOPS ENGAGING 725 FAMILIES AND 548 YOUTH IN THE ENJOYMENT OF NATURE AND THE OUTDOORS.
