EDUCATIONAL BENEFITS AND EXPERIENCES FIR THE YOUTH OF LA SALLE COUNTY TEXAS FROM THE PARTICIPATION IN THE COUNTY FAIR. ACTIVITIES SUCH AS THE SCIENCE FAIR, ART SHOW, FOOD SHOW, ARTS AND CRAFTS SHOW, QUEENS CONTEST, JUNIOR LIVESTOCK SHOW AND SALE, WILD HOG COOKOFF, AND RANCH RODEO. PROMOTES EDUCATIONAL AND AGRICULTURE ACTIVITIES FOR THE YOUTH AND CITIZENS OF LA SALLE COUNT TEXAS. GREAT EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AFFORDED MANY HIGH SCHOOL AND COLEGE STUDENTS THROUGH GRANTS OF SCHOLARSHIIPS TOTALING $33,084. ANNUAL FAIR ATTENDANCE IS 8,000 TO 10,000 PEOPLE OVER THE COURSE OF THREE DAYS.
