PROPERTY MANAGEMENT - THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS A LEASE-PURCHASE PROGRAM FOR FAMILES ON THE CUSP OF HOMEOWNERSHIP. THE ORGANIZATION OWNED AND MANAGED 115 RENTAL UNITS DURING FISCAL YEAR 2023 THAT SERVICED 168 FAMILIES, 7 OF WHICH MOVED ON TO HOMEOWNERSHIP DURING THE YEAR.
REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT - THROUGH THEIR OUTREACH PROJECTS, NEIGHBORWORKS SEEKS TO CREATE OUTLETS TO MOBILIZE VOLUNTEERS, BEAUTIFY NEIGHBORHOODS, UNITE COMMUNITIES, AND CELEBRATE RESIDENT INVOLVEMENT. ALSO PROVIDES BEST-OF PRACTICES AND TRAINING TO LOCAL EMERGING AND ESTABLISHED LEADERS IN THE COMMUNITY. NEIGHBORWORKS HAS BEEN DEVELOPING AFFORDABLE HOUSING SINCE 1997. THE ORGANIZATION COUNSELED WITH 372 FAMILIES THROUGH THE ONSITE AND ONLINE EDUCATION COURSE, COMPLETED LOANS FOR 11 FAMILIES AND 29 ADDITIONAL COUNSELED FAMILIES PURCHASED HOMES WITHOUT LENDING ASSISTANCE FROM THE ORGANIZATION.
