THE ALS ASSOCIATION OF TEXAS IS DEDICATED TO PROVIDING QUALITY LOCAL CARE, INVESTING IN RESEARCH, AND ADVOCATING FOR PEOPLE WITH ALS AND THEIR FAMILIES. IN 2021, THE ORGANIZATION ASSISTED 1,413 PEOPLE WITH ALS, INCLUDING OVER 2,763 PATIENT INTERACTIONS, LOANED OVER $1.6 MILLION WORTH OF EQUIPMENT TO PATIENTS, AND CONDUCTED 180 VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS, PRESENTATIONS AND SUPPORT GROUPS FOR PATIENTS AND FAMILIES. THE CHAPTER PARTNERED WITH AND FUNDED 12 ALS CLINICS IN TEXAS, WHICH OVERSAW 12 CLINICAL TRIALS. THE ALS ASSOCIATION OF TEXAS CONTINUES TO GROW, EXPANDING ACCESS TO CRUCIAL CARE AND WORKING TO CREATE A WORLD WITHOUT ALS.
