TO PROMOTE THE RICE INDUSTRY AND EDUCATE THE PUBLIC CONCERNING THE RICE INDUSTRY AND AGRICULTURE IN SOUTHEAST TEXAS, THE TEXAS RICE FESTIVAL HOLDS AN ANNUAL FESTIVAL IN OCTOBER.
TO PROMOTE THE RICE INDUSTRY AND AGRICULTURE IN SOUTHEAST TEXAS, THE TEXAS RICE FESTIVAL PARTICIPATES IN AREA YOUTH PROJECT SHOWS. THE ORGANIZATION PURCHASES ADD-ONS TO INCREASE THE SALES VALUE OF YOUTH PROJECT SALES. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO OFFERS SCHOLARHIPS TO AREA GRADUATING SENIORS TO PROMOTE AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION.
