INDEPENDENT LIVING DONOR ADVOCATE AND TRANSPLANT SOCIAL WORK SERVICES 1)INDEPENDENT LIVING DONOR ADVOCATE(ILDA)PROGRAM SERVICES: LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKERS SERVE AS THE ILDA TO TRANSPLANT PROGRAMS IN THE TEXAS MEDICAL CENTER AND TO DISTANT SITE CENTERS VIA TELEHEALTH. ILDAS PROTECT DONOR RIGHTS,PROMOTE THEIR BEST INTERESTS, ADVISE THEM AND ENSURE THAT THEIR DECISION TO DONATE IS FULLY INFORMED AND FREE FROM COERCION. 2)TRANSPLANT SOCIAL WORKER PROGRAM SERVICES: OUR SOCIAL WORKERS PROVIDE SOCIAL WORK SERVICES, ON AN AS NEEDED BASIS, TO TRANSPLANT PROGRAMS MANAGING WAIT LISTED TRANSPLANT PATIENTS AND TRANSPLANT RECIPIENTS.

THE ILDAN PROVIDES 24/7 VIRTUAL RESOURCES THROUGH ITS RECORDED ARCHIVED WEBINARS. CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS ARE PROVIDED AT NO COST, TO NURSES, SOCIAL WORKERS AND OTHER HEALTH PROFESSIONALS SERVING IN LIVE DONOR TRANSPLANT PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT THE NATION.
