ENERGY: THE BBCAC HAS A UTILITY ASSISTANCE ENERGY PROGRAM DESIGNED TO HELPCLIENTS ACHIEVE ENERGY SELF-SUFFICIENCY BY ENCOURAGING CONSUMERS TO CONTROLENERGY COSTS. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES UTILITY PAYMENTS ON BEHALF OF THECLIENTS AND ALSO ADDRESSES THE UNDERLYING CONTRIBUTING CAUSES OF ENERGYINDUCED HARDSHIPS. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED ASSISTANCE TO 3,212 INDIVIDUALS AND 1,603 FAMILIES IN 2021.
TRANSPORTATION: TRANSPORTATION IS AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC IN THECOMMITTEE'S SERVICE AREAS. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED 8,006 RIDES, WHICHASSISTED 8,802 INDIVIDUALS IN 2021.
