OPERATION OF HISTORIC FORT OF OLD FORT STOCKTON FOR THE CITY WITH ANNUAL GUESTS OF 6,000 TO 7,000. INCLUDES ANNUAL LIVING HISTORY DAY PROGRAM INCLUDING LIVING HISTORY UNITS OF RE-ENACTORS AND AMERICAN INDIAN HISTORICAL DISPLAYS, CAMEL UNITS, ARTILLERY UNITS WITH PERIOD WEAPONRY, AND OTHER SIMILAR DISPLAYS OF HISTORICAL INTEREST FROM THE OLD WEST. AREA SCHOOL CLASSES AND GROUPS FROM REGIONAL SCHOOLS ARE FREQUENT ATTENDERS.


SUMMER OFF THE PATIO PROGRAM FEATURING MUSIC ARTISTS SPECIALIZING IN FOLK AND WESTERN STYLES OF MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT PROVIDED ON BIWEEKLY SUMMER EVENINGS.
