TO PRESERVE THE HISTORICAL HERITAGE OF THE CITY OF PORT ARTHUR, TEXAS. THE SOCIETY OPERATES THE MUSEUM OF THE GULF COAST AND MAINTAINS AN HISTORICAL PROPERTY: THE POMPEIIAN VILLA.

Part 3 - Line 4a

OPERATION OF THE MUSEUM OF THE GULF COAST AND POMPEIIAN VILLA. THE MUSEUM EXHIBITS INDIVIDUAL WORKS OF ART AND HISTORICAL TREASURES RELATING TO THE CITY OF PORT ARTHUR AND THE GULF COAST REGION OF TEXAS. THE MUSEUM OPERATES A GIFT SHOP TO SUPPORT THESE ACTIVITIES. IN 2020, VISITORS TOURED THE MUSEUM AND VILLA AND PARTICIPATED IN OUTREACH ACTIVITIES, AND 2037 HOURS WERE DONATED BY VOLUNTEERS FOR PROGRAM OPERATIONS.
