LAWRENCE GOODRICH SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: WITH A GENEROUS GIFT OF THE GOODRICH-LAWRENCE TRUST, THE YWCA-BEAUMONT HAS ESTABLISHED A PERPETUAL SCHOLARSHIP FOR YOUNG WOMEN WHO WANT TO CONTINUE THEIR EDUCATION BEYOND HIGH SCHOOL AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
YWCA BEAUMONT-MENTORSHIP/PUBLIC SUPPORT PROGRAM: THE MENTORSHIP PROGRAM EMPOWERS WOMEN TO IDENTIFY THEIR STRENGTHS AND GET TO KNOW THEMSELVES. WOMEN BUILD A TOOLBOX OF KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS THROUGH EDUCATION ON TOPICS SUCH AS FINANCIAL LITERACY, VOLUNTEERISM, CAREER BUILDING AND RESOURCE GUIDANCE. THROUGH PUBLIC SUPPORT, THE YWCA-BEAUMONT ALSO PARTNERS WITH LOCAL COMMUNITY EFFORTS TO EMPOWER WOMEN WHILE HELPING INDIVIDUALS/FAMILIES OVERCOME HOMELESSNESS, POVERTY, AND DISCRIMINATION.
