THE PURPOSE OF THE HNS CONFERENCE IS TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL AND LITERARY ACTIVITIES TO INCREASE PUBLIC AWARENESS ABOUT HISTORICAL FICTION IN NORTH AMERICA.

OUR CONFERENCE PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR READERS, AUTHORS AND PUBLISHERS OF HISTORICAL FICTION TO MEET OTHERS WHO SHARE THEIR INTEREST AND TO LEARN MORE ABOUT HISTORICAL FICTION FROM EXPERIENCED PRESENTERS. CONFERENCES ALSO CREATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR BOTH PUBLISHED AND UNPUBLISHED AUTHORS TO DISCUSS THEIR WORK WITH OTHERS, INCLUDING PROFESSIONALS IN THE FIELD, SUCH AS AGENTS AND EDITORS.IN JULY 2023, WE HELD A LIVE CONFERENCE IN SAN ANTONIO, TX ATTENDED BY APPROXIMATELY THREE HUNDRED MEMBERS, NON-MEMBERS, STUDENTS AND GUESTS WHO WERE PRESENT ON-SITE AND ANOTHER TWO HUNDRED WHO ATTENDED VIRTUALLY.
