PROVIDE PROGRAM SUPPORT TO MEMBERS AND AFFILIATES- FUNDS THE UNISERV PROGRAM AND PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR BARGAINING AND ADMINISTRATION OF MASTER CONTRACTS. ALSO INCLUDES MEMBERSHIP PROMOTION, ORGANIZING ACTIVITIES, LEADERSHIP TRAINING AND SPECIAL WORKSHOPS.
PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATION AND ITS PROFESSION- INCLUDES LOBBYING THE STATE LEGISLATURE AND ADMINISTRATIVE AGENCIES; COLLECTING AND DISSEMINATING INFORMATION ON EDUCATION AND CANDIDATES FOR PUBLIC OFFICE; AND FOSTERING COALITION ACTIVITIES AMONG THE STATES LEADING EDUCATION GROUPS.
