ITS MISSION IS TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH OF THE PUBLIC BY STRENGTHENING STATE-BASED LEADERSHIP AND EXPERTISE FOR CHRONIC DISEASE PREVENTION AND CONTROL IN STATES AND AT THE NATIONAL LEVEL.
