FOUNDED IN 1899, THE USA RICE MILLERS' ASSOCIATION (RMA) IS ONE OF THE OLDEST AGRIBUSINESS TRADE ORGANIZATIONS IN THE UNITED STATES. IT PROMOTES THE INTERESTS OF THE U.S. RICE MILLING INDUSTRY BY ADVOCATING FOR SOUND LEGISLATIVE, REGULATORY, AND TRADE POLICY AS WELL AS SUPPORTING ACTIVITIES TO INCREASE DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL SALES FOR ALL TYPES AND FORMS OF U.S.-GROWN RICE. RMA MEMBERSHIP ENCOMPASSES VIRTUALLY ALL THE RICE MILLING CAPACITY IN THE UNITED STATES, INCLUDING, FARMER-OWNED COOPERATIVES AND PRIVATELY-OWNED MILLS. ASSOCIATE MEMBERS CONSIST OF U.S. AND FOREIGN-BASED COMPANIES WITH AN INTEREST IN ISSUES THAT IMPACT THE RICE MILLING INDUSTRY.
