PROVIDED FOOD SUPPLEMENTS AND FOOD VOUCHERS, FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR MEDICAL BILLS, PRESCRIPTIONS, UTILITIES, AND HOUSING WHILE AWAY FROM HOME FOR TREATEMENT. PROVIDED GAS VOUCHERS AND VOLUNTEER DRIVERS FOR TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM TREATEMENTS, AND OTHER ASSISTANCE AS NEEDED.
PROVIDED FREE COUNSELING WITH A LICENSED SOCIAL WORKER FOR PATIENTS, FAMILIES AND CAREGIVERS.
PROVIDED SUPPORT GROUPS, A RESOURCE ROOM WITH CANCER RELATED MATERIALS AS WELL AS FREE INTERNET ACCESS. PROVIDED ASSISTANCE TO CLIENTS IN ORGANIZING MEDICAL BILLS, RESEARCHING RESOURCES AND SETTING UP PAYMENT PLANS. PROVIDE ASSISTANCE IN FINDING PSYCHOLOGICAL, EMOTIONAL AND FINANCIAL COUNSELING.
