FINANCIAL SUPPORT PROGRAM: PROVIDED FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO OUR CLIENTS THROUGH MULTIPLE AVENUES, INCLUDING GAS VOUCHERS, GROCERY GIFT CARDS, LODGING, TRANSPORATION ARRANGEMENTS AND FEES, AND ASSISTANCE WITH MEDICAL BILLS.
EMOTIONAL SUPPORT PROGRAM: PROVIDED EMOTIONAL SUPPORT FOR PATIENTS, FAMILIES AND CAREGIVERS THROUGH 1:1 COUNSELING AS WELL AS TWO SUPPORT GROUPS HELD IN THE CCS OFFICE ON A BI-WEEKLY BASIS.
PHYSICAL SUPPORT PROGRAM: PROVIDED PHYSICAL SUPPORT THROUGH WEEKLY YOGA CLASSES HELD AT THE CCS OFFICE. ALSO PROVIDED A RESOURCE ROOM WITH CANCER RELATED MATERIALS AS WELL AS FREE INTERNET ACCESS. PROVIDED ASSISTANCE TO CLIENTS IN ORGANIZING MEDICAL BILLS, RESEARCHING RESOURCES AND SETTING UP PAYMENT PLANS. PROVIDED ASSISTANCE IN FINDING PSYCHOLOGICAL, EMOTIONAL AND FINANCIAL COUNSELING. PROVIDED HATS, WIGS, SCARVES, AND MASTECTOMY SUPPLIES.
