EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS ARE PROVIDED INCLUDING "EARN WHILE YOU LEARN" WHICH COVERS 3 TRIMESTERS OF PREGNANCY CHILD DEVELOPMENT ABUSE SAFETY & NUTRITION AND EDUCATION ON BABY CARE DISCIPLINE AND LOVE. THE CENTER PROVIDED 743 INDIVIDUAL CLASSES IN 2022. PARTICIPANTS "EARNED" CREDITS TO GET BABY SUPPLIES AND CLOTHING.
THE CENTER PROVIDES LAY PEER COUNSELING FOR CLIENTS WHO ARE PREGNANT OR THINK THEY MAY BE PREGNANT. DURING 2022 222 PREGNANCY TESTS WERE GIVEN WITH COUNSELING PROVIDED ALONG WITH APPOINTMENTS TOTALLING 2,387.
306 OBSTETRICAL ULTRASOUNDS WERE PROVIDED TO DETERMINE WHETHER THERE WAS A VIABLE INTRAUTERINE PREGNANCY. ALL ULTRASOUND CLIENTS ARE REFERRED FOR PRENATAL CARE. STI TESTS WERE ALSO OFFERED IF INDICATED.
