THE MISSION OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO PURCHASE, RESTORE, PRESERVE, AND OPERATE EL CAMPANIL THEATRE AND TO ENSURE ITS CONTINUED USE AS A CULTURAL AND ARCHITECTUAL RESOURCE TO BENEFIT THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY OF ANTIOCH THROUGH PUBLIC PERFORMANCES AND ARTS EDUCATION.

IN ADDITION TO PRODUCING MONTHLY CONCERTS THROUGHOUT THE CALENDAR YEAR AT AFFORDABLE PRICES FOR THE COMMUNITY, EL CAMPANIL THEATRE ALSO OFFERS EL CAMPANIL THEATRE ACADEMY: A PROGRAM DEDICATED TO NOT ONLY ARTS EDUCATION, BUT CAREER TRAINING IN THE PERFORMING ARTS IN TECHNICAL AND DESIGN CLASSES AS WELL. SINCE 2020, ECTA HAS OFFERED OVER 20 COURSES FOR YOUNG ARTISTS. EL CAMPANIL THEATRE ALSO PRODUCES THE DELTA BLUES BENEFIT CONCERT - A YEARLY BENEFIT CONCERT THAT GIVES GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS TO MUSIC EDUCATION PROGRAMS AND INDIVIDUAL STUDENTS.
