FOR THE YEAR ENDED DECEMBER 31, 2021, THE ORGANIZATION OPERATED THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS:FIELDS OF LEARNING: PAIRS A SCHOOL WITH A LOCAL FARM, 3 TIMES A YEAR, TOENHANCE STUDENTS EDUCATION THROUGH HANDS-ON AGRICULTURAL EXPERIENCES.WE STRIVE TO PROVIDE LESSONS THAT BRINGS TOGETHER NEXT GENERATIONSCIENCE STANDARDS (NGSS) AND COMMON CORE STATE STANDARDS. BY EXPLORINGTHE ITEMS GROWN ON THE FARM, ITS ENVIRONMENT, ITS CHANGES AND IMPACTS,THE PROGRAM ALLOWS STUDENTS TO DELVE INTO ALL THE DISCIPLINARY COREIDEAS OF LIFE SCIENCE. (DUE TO COVID NO FIELD TRIPS IN 2021)FARM DAY: WE HOST 1,200 LOCAL 3RD GRADERS, 300+ VOLUNTEERS AND TEACHERSFOR A DAY OF HANDS-ON, PLACE-BASED, AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION. THE PURPOSEIS TO EDUCATE AND HELP STUDENTS UNDERSTAND WHERE FOOD, FIBER AND FORESTPRODUCTS ORIGINATE AND HOW THEY ARE USED IN EVERYDAY LIFE. CLASSESROTATE TO LEARNING STATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 8 PRESENTATIONS TO LEARNABOUT ALL ASPECTS OF AGRICULTURE AND FARMING.
