Describe the Organization's Mission:

Part 3 - Line 1

BAPTI'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE SUPERVISION AND TRAINING TO EIGHT PRE- LICENSED PSYCHOTHERAPISTS WHILE SERVING DOZENS OF CLIENTS WITH LOW-COST PSYCHOTHERAPY SERVICES.

Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

IN 2022, BAPTI CONTINUED OFFERING IN-PERSON AND REMOTE TELEHEALTH SERVICES TO CLIENTS. ALL ASSOCIATE THERAPISTS RETURNED TO THE OFFICE AND BEGAN SEEING SOME CLIENTS FOR IN-PERSON SESSIONS, WITH APPROPRIATE COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES. DUE TO THE INTRODUCTION OF TELEHEALTH IN 2020, BAPTI'S PROGRAM AND REVENUE GREW DRAMATICALLY IN 2021, AS ASSOCIATE THERAPISTS WERE NO LONGER LIMITED BY THE SCHEDULING OF SHARED OFFICE SPACE, AND ALSO DUE TO THE SKYROCKETING NEED FOR MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES BROUGHT ON BY THE PANDEMIC. OUR PROGRAM AND REVENUE SHRANK A BIT IN 2022 AS MOST OF OUR EXPERIENCED, ESTABLISHED ASSOCIATE THERAPISTS GRADUATED AND WE BROUGHT ON NEW ASSOCIATES WHO NEEDED TIME TO RAMP UP THEIR PRACTICES AND/OR WERE ALSO WORKING ELSEWHERE AND SO HAD LIMITED HOURS AT BAPTI. (CONTINUED BELOW)

... BAPTI HAS CONTINUED TO BE A COMMUNITY RESOURCE FOR CLIENTS SEEKING MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES FOR MANY TYPES OF ISSUES. -------------------------------------------------------------------- THE BAPTI MENTAL HEALTH EQUITY FUND CONTINUED TO PROVIDE LOW-FEE SERVICES TO OUR COMMUNITY. FOR CLIENTS IN NEED OF LOW-FEE THERAPY, IN 2022 THE FUND PROVIDED SUBSIDIES IN THE AMOUNT OF 7,000 FOR A TOTAL OF 90 SESSIONS. FUNDS ARE RAISED THROUGH AN END-OF-YEAR FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN, IN ADDITION TO FUNDS REMAINING FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR.

DURING 2022, WE SUCCESSFULLY GUIDED TWELVE MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPY ASSOCIATES TOWARD LICENSURE, INCLUDING HIRING FOUR NEW ASSOCIATES AS PART OF OUR TRAINING GROUP.
