THE MENDOCINO SISTER CITIES ASSOCIATION WAS FORMED TO PROMOTE, FOSTER AND PUBLICIZE MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN PEOPLES OF OTHER NATIONS.STUDENT AND ARTIST EXHANGES HAPPEN EACH YEAR, WITH INTERESTED STUDENTS AND ARTISTS PARTICIPATING IN THE EXCHANGE. THE SISTER CITY OF MENDOCINO IS MIASA, JAPAN. YOUNG PEOPLE PARTICIPATE IN HOME STAYS, CULTURAL VISITS AND SIGHT SEEING. DURING THIS YEAR, 32 PARTICIPANTS TRAVELED TO OUR SISTER CITY.
