FRIENDS OF HEALTH FUNDED MANY SMALL, SOMEWHAT UNCONVENTIONAL, MEDICALLY RELATED REQUESTS MADE BY LOCAL CAREGIVING ORGANIZATIONS, FOR THEIR PARENTS, WHO WERE UNABLE TO GET HELP ELSEWHERE.THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORED AND PAID A GRIEF GROUP COUNSELOR TO HOLD A WEEKLY MEETING FOR THOSE IN NEED OF HELP WITH GRIEVING ISSUES.THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORED AND FUNDED A FREE, 2 DAY ROSELYN CARTER DEMENTIA WORKSHOP TO HELP PROFESSIONAL CAREGIVERS AND FAMILY CAREGIVERS DEAL WITH DEMENTIA PATIENTS IN THEIR LIFE. FROM THIS WORKSHOP A GROUP NOW MEETS TWICE MONTHLY TO HELP ANYONE DEALING WITH A DEMENTIA CAREGIVING ISSUE.THE ORGANIZATION DONATED SMALL MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TO BE REDONATED TO THOSE IN NEED.
